Marcella Blake

MSW, ASW

Marcella Blake, MSW, ASW, is a Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker with a background in psychology and integrative behavioral health. She holds a Master's degree in Social Work and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with experience spanning grief & bereavement, as well as supporting both aging adults and incarcerated women navigating emotional and life transitions.

She integrates traditional social work foundations with mind-body approaches, such as mindfulness, somatic practices, and neurofeedback. Her focus is on helping clients regulate, rebuild resilience, and discover new ways of relating to themselves and the world around them.

I didn’t come into this field by accident. Like many people, I’ve known what it feels like to carry grief, navigate uncertainty, and wonder how to keep moving forward.

Those experiences shaped me, and they’re part of why I chose to study psychology and earn my Master of Social Work. I wanted to understand not just the mind, but the whole human experience—how our bodies, emotions, and environments all work together in healing and resilience.

Over the years, I’ve worked in crisis response, hospice bereavement, and community care. Each setting taught me something profound: people are incredibly strong, even when they feel broken. Healing doesn’t always look like a straight line, and it doesn’t always happen through words alone. That’s why I’ve become passionate about integrative approaches—tools like mindfulness, neurofeedback, and somatic practices that help people find balance, regulate their nervous system, and reconnect with themselves in new ways.

I bring both my professional training and my personal humanity to the work I do. My hope is to create a safe, supportive space where people feel truly seen and can begin to explore what freedom, balance, and well-being mean for them.
